Delegate Reid Novotny Visits Frederick Campus

Technology has become a dominant part of our lives, and Del. Novotny shared the impact of computer and mobile phone usage on daily living. He explained how as our use has grown and evolved, so too has cybercrime and the need for cyber security. Students learned more about this in-demand profession and the need for computer science skills. Our students showed Del. Novotny their work with HTML, CSS, coding, and more.

After a campus tour with MSD Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer Ann Miller and CTE assistant principal Steve Mather, Del. Novotny shared that his experience at MSD was his first time seeing how deaf students communicate, grow, and learn.
