Graduates
of the Maryland School for the Deaf join other
productive individuals when they receive a Maryland
High School diploma and a Maryland School for
the Deaf diploma which serve as passports to the
future. Whether continuing on in education or
entering the workforce, they have acquired the
tools to explore a world with confidence.

| Students
have matured dramatically at MSD. They have grown
physically and intellectually for education happens
not only in the classroms but the residence halls,
the sports fields, and the community at large. They
are just as unique as the day they arrived, or perhaps
even more so because they have developed the strength
to embrace their identity and move on. They will
be college professors, corporate executives, masons,
postal service workers, or computer programmers.
They will live in Maryland, California, or beyond.
With an MSD education, they will be ready to face
the challenges of living in a multicultural and
changing society. |
