Career & Technology Education Department

EleWoodwork Class

The Career and Technology Education (CTE) Department serves students from Family Education (3 years old) to students in High School on the Frederick Campus. CTE offers a wide array of classes, several of which meet the Maryland State Department of Education requirements to graduate.

The Student Service Learning (SSL) program is also under CTE. Students must earn 75 hours of SSL as part of their graduation requirements, and may starting earning these hours beginning in the sixth grade. All SSL assignments must be approved by the CTE Assistant Principal prior to the assignment.
