Student Body Government at the Maryland School for the Deaf is committed on fostering cooperation between faculty, staff, and students while protecting student rights and providing a voice for the student body through the political process that has been exemplified through our Constitution of the United States .

The Student Body Government provides opportunities for the students to become outstanding citizens and leaders of the future by encouraging them to express their opinions appropriately.
