| Nature
of Work: Under the supervision of the Assistant Principals, coordinate ESY services for students; seek appropriate ESY placements in local school systems and other service providers throughout the state to ensure ESY services are met as identified in the students' Individual Education Plans (IEP). In conjunction with the Assistant Principals, assist in monitoring ESY services for individual students to ensure compliance with state and federal laws regarding ESY and assumes other related responsibilities as designated by the campus Principal . |
| Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in education or related field required. A strong knowledge of federal and state special education laws and one year experience working in public and/or private education. Ability to work as a team member. Fluency in ASL and written English preferred. Strong organizational skills and flexibility in scheduling are required. Knowledge of Deaf community required. |
