Outreach

MSD actively promotes communication among families, county programs, Local School Systems, professional organizations, and faculty and staff.  This information sharing and cooperation supports families and facilitates effective decision making to help students become educated, contributing citizens.

MSD’s Outreach Coordinator is a resource for information about MSD’s comprehensive programs and services.  Among these are spoken English instruction, the dual enrollment option, and programs like Enhanced Services, which is offered in conjunction with Local School Systems.  The Coordinator is available to meet with families and to participate in IEP meetings of deaf students enrolled in public schools across the state.
