The
Office of Student Life is responsible for providing a safe and
educational 'home away from home' environment for our day and residential
students. In addition to supervising and knowing the whereabouts
of the students, Student Life Counselors work with students in various
aspects of student life: working with them on completing their daily
tasks, helping with practicing proper personal hygiene, teaching
proper social etiquettes, tutoring students with their homework,
assisting students with time management, and coordinating after-school
activities for students.
Along
with residential hall management responsibilities, the Office of
Student Life also arranges and provides After-School Activities
in order
to promote moral, social, emotional, physical, and educational growth
of our students. Developing and facilitating leadership and social
skills as well as fosteringcitizenship, sportsmanship, and democratic
values are the other goals in nurturing our students outside of
the classrooms. Field trips, organization meetings, clubs, community
projects, intramural games and tournaments are some of the activities
provided by the Office of Student Life residential staff.
