Mission Statement from the MSD Board of Trustees
The Maryland School for the Deaf must actively address structures and policies that may perpetuate the inequities among students, staff, and families of color. Anti-racism work at MSD is a process of identifying and eliminating oppression of any kind or form. MSD is committed to supporting students who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color and from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to achieve their utmost potential in their academic achievements.
