District of Columbia Black Deaf Advocates | Website
DCABDA is a community-based organization in the metro area serving Black Deaf and Hard of Hearing people of multiple identities. DCABDA has empowered Deaf and Hard of Hearing people of multiple identities to work together for changes that promote improvement to their lives. DCABA aims to foster advocacy and leadership skills with issues impacting the individuals and strengthen the educational, cultural, social, civil, and economic advancement of target population.
 
HEARD | Website
HEARD (Helping Educate to Advance the Rights of Deaf Communities) is a volunteer-based non-profit organization that conducts deaf prisoner/defendant research nationwide. HEARD supports deaf individuals in prison who are facing access issues and wrongful conviction cases; as well as educating the Deaf community about the law and current legal issues. Establishing and maintaining the nation's only deaf prisoner database, HEARD works to increase deaf representation in legal and law enforcement communities by connecting deaf youth with appropriate educational opportunities.

National Black Deaf Advocates (NBDA) is the official advocacy organization for thousands of Black Deaf and Hard of Hearing Americans. For more than three decades, NBDA has been at the forefront of advocacy efforts for civil rights and equal access to education, employment, and social services on behalf of the Black Deaf and Hard of Hearing in the United States.
 
Youth Empowerment Summit | Website
Since 1997, Youth Empowerment Summit (Y.E.S.) offers one week educational leadership training and challenging activities for Black Deaf and hard of hearing youth from across the country. This program applies to youths between the ages of 13 to 17 from any mainstreamed, home-schooled, and deaf institutions. The Y.E.S! leadership training is held biennially in conjunction with the NBDA National Conference.

Black Girls Code is a non-profit organization whose mission is to increase the number of women of color in the digital space by empowering girls of color ages 7 to 17 to become innovators in STEM fields, leaders in their communities, and builders of their own futures through exposure to computer science and technology.

Black Lives Matter Foundation, Inc is a global organization in the US, UK, and Canada, whose mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by the state and vigilantes.

Founded in 1909 in response to the ongoing violence against Black people around the country, the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) is the largest and most pre-eminent civil rights organization in the nation. Our mission is to secure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights in order to eliminate race-based discrimination and ensure the health and well-being of all persons.
 
National Black Justice Coalition | Website
The National Black Justice Coalition (NBJC) is a civil rights organization dedicated to the empowerment of Black lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and same gender loving (LGBTQ/SGL) people, including people living with HIV/AIDS. NBJC's mission is to end racism, homophobia, and LGBTQ/SGL bias and stigma. As America's leading national Black LGBTQ/SGL civil rights organization focused on federal public policy, NBJC has accepted the charge to lead Black families in strengthening the bonds and bridging the gaps between the movements for racial justice and LGBTQ/SGL equality.

Jackson, Sr. through the merging of two organizations he founded earlier, People United to Serve Humanity (PUSH, 1971) and the Rainbow Coalition (1984). Our mission is to protect, defend, and gain civil rights by leveling the economic and educational playing fields, and to promote peace and justice around the world.
