Krista Leitch Walker

Kristina ("Krista") Leitch Walker is a parent, daughter, and granddaughter of MSD graduates. As the vice president of Human Resources and Strategic Talent Management at Montgomery College (MC), she serves and supports over 3,600 employees across three campuses. Prior to working at MC, Krista worked at Gallaudet University in a variety of positions over a 15-year period. Her areas of expertise include recruitment and hiring, employee relations, continuing education and training, and organizational development.

 

Krista received a bachelor's degree in Government from University of Maryland University College, a master's degree in Administration from Gallaudet University, and post-graduate coursework and training in organizational development. She is also an alumnus of the HERS Leadership Institute for Women in Higher Education at Bryn Mawr College and a Fulbright award recipient to Ireland.
