The Office of Compliance serves as a resource in providing leadership, guidance, and coordinated support to the Maryland School for the Deaf (MSD) community to ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations and guidelines. This office's goal is to create a more compliant-oriented campus by working collaboratively with staff, parents/guardians, and the community to enhance safe and supportive learning and working environments while following policies and administrative procedures.

 

Policies are effective upon the approval of the Board of Trustees, unless in response to new or revised requirements by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) and/or the federal government.
