High School
The high school curriculum includes ninth through twelfth grade. Instruction in all academic areas is provided by the content area teacher through a variety of flexible grouping strategies. Students can participate in either diploma-bound or certificate-bound programs.
High school students are required to meet course requirements, participate in state assessments, and earn Student Service-Learning (SSL) hours to satisfy diploma requirements. There are four core subject areas which are taught in high school. These subjects consist of English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, which include dual-credit college classes.
Career and Technology Education (CTE) courses and programs are provided to high school students in the areas of Fine Arts, Career and Technology Education, Transition Education, and World Languages.
In addition, high school students participate in Physical Education (PE) classes with a mission of a lifelong appreciation for a healthy lifestyle.
