Within this comprehensive 68-page edition, covering highlights from the beginning of April to the end of August, you'll discover a diverse range of stories capturing the essence of the spring and summer seasons. Continuing our tradition, the cover story spotlights the graduating class of 2023, capturing memorable moments and wisdom from the commencement ceremony, including insights from student speakers and commencement speaker Linsay Darnall, Jr. 

 

Highlights also include a recap of the Golden Gala event and student celebrations of Columbia campus's 50th Anniversary, a Q&A session with international exchange students, updates from the Board of Trustees and the superintendent's office, and a roundup of the five summer camps hosted at MSD.

 

Additionally, the magazine features campus news such as the elementary ASL Spelling Bee and the Multicultural Day celebration at the Columbia campus. Notable student organization and club achievements are also highlighted, including national-level competitions for middle school Battle of the Books and Math teams, and the debut of the robotics club at the world championships.
