Procedural Safeguards Notice

Before your child's IFSP or IEP meeting, it is important to know your rights as a parent. The Procedural Safeguards Notice explains your rights as a parent in a clear, easy-to-understand language, so you can participate confidently in decisions about your child's education.

This notice is available in your native language whenever possible and applies to:

Children and families receiving services through an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)

Children and youth with disabilities receiving services through an Individualized Education Program (IEP)
