Junior Black Deaf Advocates
The purpose of the Junior BDA, Junior Black Deaf Advocates, is to prepare the next generation of Black deaf and hard of hearing leaders to serve in a diverse community. The organization aims to increase self-esteem in cultural values and to continue to build awareness about being a Black deaf or hard of hearing individual in today's society. Students have opportunities to lead and participate in educational activities and regular discussions of current issues surrounding the black community.
