Protocol for Visiting MSD

Visitors

Visitors may enter school buildings following building entry and safety protocols, including self-health assessments. Parents/guardians may enter the lobby area(s) to communicate with staff to pick up their child(ren) or to attend scheduled meetings. Campus tours must be scheduled and may be limited to specific buildings and areas dependent upon the purpose of the visit. The planning and scheduling of visits will be contingent upon the sizing, grouping, and purpose of such visits.

All visitors must complete a self-assessment before coming to campus. In addition, visitors must agree not to come to campus if they:
  • Have tested positive for COVID-19 and have not fulfilled current protocol requirements for isolation and quarantine.
  • Have one or more of the following symptoms within 48 hours of their visit that may indicate an infection of COVID-19: fever of 100.4 or higher, sore throat, cough, difficulty breathing, diarrhea or vomiting, new onset of severe headache (especially with fever), or new loss of taste or smell.
Volunteers, Interns, and Employment Opportunities

Substitutes, interns, practicum students, and volunteers are welcome on campus and are expected to follow all safety protocols. Internship, practicum, and volunteer placements must be approved by the campus Chief Educational Programs Officer. MSD student internships and volunteer placements will be considered case-by-case basis and contingent upon current health metrics and safety recommendations.
